Easy monthly premium payment options

 

Choose the most convenient method to pay your monthly plan premium or payment plan.

 

Visit AetnaMedicare.com/PayYourPremium or call us to make a one-time payment by credit/debit card or e-check.

Withdrawn directly from your checking or savings account.

Mail a check, along with the payment coupon from your invoice, in the envelope provided. We must receive your payment by your due date each month for you to remain in the payment plan.

Take your invoice to any CVS Pharmacy® location to make a payment by cash, credit card or debit card. (Service not available at CVS Pharmacy at Target® or Schnucks locations.)

Deduct from your Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board benefit payments.

Commonly asked questions

 

Your first invoice may take up to 45 days to arrive. It may be for two months of coverage at that time. Your payment is not due until you receive your first invoice. You can always make a payment over the phone. To do so, call at the number on your member ID.

Plan premium payments are due on the 1st of each month. You can select convenient automatic premium payments through your bank account or credit card. If you choose that option, your payment will process between the 8th and 10th of each month.

It may take two or more months for automatic deductions to begin. Please continue to do one of the following:

 

  • Mail your check or money order
  • Pay with a credit card online at AetnaMedicare.com/PayYourPremium
  • Pay with cash, a credit card or your debit card at your local CVS Pharmacy®

You should make these payments until you no longer receive an invoice in the mail.

To avoid confusion, we ask that you send separate checks and payment coupons for each account. Please include the payment ID number on your check. Your payment ID number is on the payment coupon attached to your invoice.

Yes. You can call Customer Care to cancel automatic payments at any time. The choice is always yours.

Payment plans are available for premium payments. Call 1-855-651-4856 (TTY: 711), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to talk about your premium payment options. You can also ask for Extra Help. This is a government program that helps people with limited income and resources pay for their Medicare prescription drug costs. To see if you qualify for Extra Help, visit your local Social Security office. Or call 1-800-772-1213 (TTY: 1-800-325-0778) between 7 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday.
