24 Hour Nurse Line
Sometimes, a phone call makes all the difference. You can talk to a registered nurse for information about tests, procedures and treatment options. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And the call is free with your Aetna benefits. Once you’re a member, you can find the phone number on your Aetna member website.
Note: While only your doctor can diagnose, prescribe or give medical advice, the 24 Hour Nurse Line nurses can provide information on a variety of health topics.
You can avoid surprise bills and plan for health care costs by checking cost estimates before you get care. Just log in to your Aetna member website or use the Aetna Health app to compare and shop for treatments, doctors and hospitals by estimated costs.
Note: Estimated costs are not available in all markets. The tool gives you an estimate of what you would owe for a particular service based on your plan at that point in time. Actual costs may differ from the estimate if, for example, claims for other services are processed after you get your estimate but before the claim for this service is submitted, or if the doctor or facility performs a different service at the time of your visit.

Once you’re a member, log in to Aetna member website and check out “Discover a healthier you.”
Technology helps us find opportunities for you to be healthier and safer. Our system reviews health records, such as doctor visits and lab results. It compares the information to the highest standards of care recommended by the medical community.
If we find a way to improve care — or see a possible drug interaction — we send out health action alerts. You can talk with your doctor about how to use these messages.
Note: Alerts aren’t intended to diagnose, prescribe or give members medical advice.
