ACA individual plans: Texas

Plans for American Indians and Alaskan Natives (AI/AN)

If you’re an American Indian or Alaska Native, there are two types of Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans available to you: zero-cost sharing plans and limited cost-sharing plans. Your cost-sharing eligibility is based on the federal poverty level (FPL) and your household income.

You can find a guide to the federal poverty level on Healthcare.gov.

Zero cost-sharing plans

If your household income is between 100% and 300% of the federal poverty level, you can enroll in a zero-cost sharing plan. You won’t have to pay out-of-pocket costs like copays, coinsurance or deductibles when you get care.

Use our menu to find different plan types.

Limited cost-sharing plans

If your household income is over 300% of the federal poverty level, you can enroll in a limited cost-sharing plan. You won’t have to pay out-of-pocket costs like deductibles, copays and coinsurance for care received from participating Tribal Health providers. If you receive care from participating providers who are not Tribal Health providers, you will have to pay out-of-pocket costs.
