Dental benefit
Aetna® has Medicare Advantage plans that cover preventive care like oral exams, cleanings and X-rays. We also offer plans with even more dental services. Like fillings and extractions. You can find specific benefit details in the plan’s Evidence of Coverage.
Dental benefits use the Aetna preferred provider organization (PPO) network. See if your dentist is in the Aetna network.

Vision benefit
Aetna has Medicare Advantage plans with a vision benefit. The vision benefit includes:
One routine vision exam per year
An annual allowance that can be used to buy prescription eyewear, depending on the plan
Plans are offered as a network benefit or as a direct member reimbursement (DMR) benefit. With a network benefit, you can see any vision provider in your plan’s network.
For plans with a DMR benefit, you get an annual benefit amount (allowance) that you can use for covered eyewear. You can see a licensed provider of your choice. You'll pay out of pocket when you get care. And we'll reimburse you afterwards. File a claim and include your receipt and any needed information. Then, we can reimburse you up to your plan's benefit amount.

Hearing benefit
Aetna offers Medicare Advantage plans with a hearing benefit. We teamed up with NationsHearing to provide hearing exams and hearing aid benefits. We have plans that include:
One annual routine hearing exam
Hearing aid coverage* and one hearing aid fitting
We offer Medicare HMO and PPO plans. These are also known as health maintenance organization and preferred provider organization plans.
With an HMO plan, you can see any NationsHearing provider for a hearing exam. If you have a PPO plan, you can see any provider for a hearing exam. Hearing aids are only covered through NationsHearing.

Some HMO-POS and PPO members can also see dentists that are not part of the network. Members of these plans that choose a provider not in the Aetna Dental® PPO Network may have higher costs.

Visit AetnaMedicareVision.com for a list of network providers. If you use one of these providers, they will bill Aetna directly. You won't need to submit a claim form and receipt.
